Where we build

Home builders in Tasman.

Warm, healthy, low-energy architectural homes on Tasman's rural, coastal and hillside sites.

Building in Tasman

Tasman is where we build most. Its rural blocks, coastal edges and hillside sites reward a home that is designed around the sun and the land, not dropped onto it. We design and build architectural homes here that are warm, dry and economical to run, right through the year.

Why build with us here

We are a local team working with local suppliers and trades, so nothing about a Tasman site surprises us. Every home is engineered for its own block: the sun, the wind, the slope and the soil. And with open-book pricing you see every dollar, so you stay in control of the budget from the first sketch to the final invoice.

Good questions

Building in Tasman, answered.

Do you build on hillside and rural Tasman sites?

Yes, most of our work is on exactly these sites. Tasman View sits on a cut hillside platform, Horton Road on a rural block and The Black House beside the estuary in Tasman. Sloped, exposed and out-of-town sites are our normal, not the exception.

What does it cost to build in Tasman?

It depends on your site and specification. Our guide to what it costs to build a house in NZ sets out realistic square-metre ranges for 2026 and the factors that move the price.

Do you build Passive Homes in Tasman?

Yes. We build Passive Homes, built to the Passive House standard, alongside high-performance homes that get most of the way there. The right level depends on your brief and budget, and we will talk you through both honestly.
