Good homes are built by good people.
Over nearly twenty years building across Nelson and Tasman we have settled on a team we trust: local subcontractors who turn up and do it right, and suppliers whose products we would put in our own homes.
They are as much a part of an Ecotectural home as we are. Here they are, grouped by trade.

Good questions
Our trades and suppliers, answered.
How do you choose your subcontractors?
On track record, not price alone. Every trade on this page has worked with us across multiple homes, and we keep coming back to the same people because they turn up, do it right and stand behind their work.
Can I bring my own trades to the build?
We are open to it for a trade you already have a strong relationship with, as long as they can meet our programme and quality standard. For most trades we recommend our own team, since the coordination and accountability that come from one open-book build depend on everyone working the same way.
How do you vet your suppliers?
We specify products we would put in our own homes: proven systems like MAXRaft, Formance and Pro Clima, backed by real warranties and NZ Building Code compliance, from suppliers who back their product after handover, not just at the sale.
